Troutlodge Egg Symposium 2018

On August 28th 2018, team members of Troutlodge and invited speakers from research and technical products gathered in Puyallup, Washington for an egg quality symposium at the Fairfield Inn Conference Center.

The meeting brought a wide variety of speakers together for what would be a full day of interesting discussions around technical issues affecting egg health and quality.  The intentions of the meeting were to bring everyone up-to-date with the latest R&D and industry tools available, as well as offering some new networking opportunities and focused brainstorming sessions.  Guest speakers from Cryogenics, Syndel, and the USDA, along with six presentations from Troutlodge’s own staff ensured the day was filled with informative lectures and data-rich presentations that set the stage for a group discussion near the end of the gathering.

All those in attendance finished the day by breaking into two separate groups where each determined what the three biggest challenges are that they currently face.  From this, the group decided what the best plan of action would be to overcome these issues and ensure progress and direction as a team.

The day was considered a great success and displayed the commitment to the product development and quality control that Troutlodge considers priority so as to remain the industry leader and continue to provide the best quality eggs available on the market.
