In addition to running its own breeding programmes, LNS also offers a range of contract breeding services for many fish and animal species. Services include breeding programme management, broodstock and genetics management, basic genotyping and full product traceability. In fact the company's genotyping laboratory already provides a parentage assignment service, based on micro-satellite markers, to many aquaculture and terrestrial livestock breeding programmes.
